Zero Impact- July Update

To keep you in the loop with what’s happening at Zero Impact we’ll be providing monthly updates.
July has been an exciting month for us with a number of exciting moments thus far.

Max got back from travelling UK/Europe:

Zero Impact- Max in England

At the end of June Max got back from travelling around the UK and Italy. Max visited family and enjoyed some well earned relaxation.

We welcomed Jack to the Zero Impact team:

Jack Peacock Zero Impact

The first week of July saw Zero Impact welcome Jack Peacock to the team, as our new marketing and digital content intern. A 2018 La Trobe University (Bachelor of Business) graduate, Jack will be with us for 12 weeks!

Find out a bit about Jack here!

We started Melbourne University’s "Velocity" program:

MAP velocity program

July also marked the start of our participation in the MAP velocity program, run by Melbourne University.

As per the MAP velocity program website

The Velocity program helps early-stage founders pressure test their startups - speeding up their discovery of first customers and pathway to product-market fit. Open to both for-profit and impact startups, it is important to us that both types of founders influence and motivate each other to succeed in business and in impact.”

We’re really thrilled by the opportunity to work and develop alongside some of Melbourne’s most exciting startups. The MAP velocity and accelerator programs have a long list of successful alumni and we’re excited to see what the next 15 weeks have in store for us.

New posters designed and printed:

We were also excited to see a new batch of posters designed and printed up for us. These posters will be placed in cafes all over Melbourne.
Be on the lookout for them cafes near you! And if you see one take a picture and send it to us!

We updated the website, then crashed it, then updated it again:

This month we’ve focused on updating and expanding the content on our website, to make the site as engaging and interesting for you as possible!
If you have anything you want to see on our website, feel free to contact us and let us know!
However, whilst doing up the website we had a bit of a blunder (eek!) and for a day our “add to cart” function wasn’t operating correctly. Apologies to those affected, but we promise it’s all running smoothly now!
